Event 3

Billy Jewel and His Bad Habits

Billy Jewell and his bad habits are predominantly a country band but with some diversity.  With love and knowledge of all types of music, they try to focus on newer upbeat country.  Every member of the band is a strong vocalist.  They really take pride in their harmonies.

The band is led by front man Billy Jewell singing lead vocals and playing acoustic guitar. Billy has been playing gigs with guitarist Chip Stead for several years.  Chip is an amazing musician and is highly skilled at playing guitar, fiddle and pedal steel.  He also adds Harmony Vocals to the mix.  Drummer Rod Raymond brings a lot of experience to the group, playing with several bands over the years.  He also has tremendous vocals, both lead and harmonies.  Youngster bassist Joe Carlson is the newcomer to the group.  Guitar player at heart, Joe filled the role as bass player.  Joe is also a great vocalist.  He has a rockabilly style and sometimes grabs a guitar and leads the group with a couple old Buddy Holly favorites.

Together, these guys bring a high energy sound to any venue, playing both covers and some original music.

EVERY WEDNESDAY: Billy acousitc 5:00 - 8:00 through Labor Day and full band July 2nd & July 4th 6:00 - 10:00.
